Wrexham City Tours

Wrexham City Tours offers a guided walk through the medieval and Victorian streets, alleys and passageways of the city, giving visitors a fascinating insight into Wrexham’s heritage and history. The standard tour lasts around 2.5 hours and explores stories dating back centuries, including the historic Beast Market and some of the city’s more colourful and sometimes gruesome past.

The tour includes a visit to St Giles Church, a remarkable medieval church with centuries of stories to tell, as well as the beautifully restored Victorian Butchers and Butter Markets. Visitors can also see locations featured in the Welcome to Wrexham documentary and hear about the characters connected to the city’s football story.

A half day tour of approximately 4.5 hours is also available, including a visit to Wrexham Miner’s Rescue Station, lunch options nearby, and stops at Racecourse Ground and the iconic The Turf.
