***APRIL FOOL*** Visitors to the iconic Pontcysyllte Aqueduct could soon experience part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site like never before, as plans are unveiled for a new glass-floor viewing section suspended 38 metres above the River Dee. The proposed enhancement, developed in partnership with leading structural engineers and heritage specialists in Wales, would see a carefully designed stretch of the aqueduct’s towpath in Trevor replaced with reinforced transparent panel
