By becoming a This Is Wrecsam business member, you’ll join over 57 local hotels, restaurants, cafés, attractions and experience-led businesses working together to showcase Wrexham County Borough as a brilliant place to visit, eat and stay. We help position your business in front of a growing audience of visitors, while strengthening the local tourism economy for the benefit of businesses, jobs, skills development and local food & drink producers.

Who We Are

This Is Wrecsam is the official  Destination Management & Marketing partnership for Wrexham County Borough, led by local tourism businesses.

Our focus is simple:
to improve the visitor experience, support sustainable tourism growth, and champion the people, places and producers that make Wrexham special.

We offer affordable membership fees and ask that all members are committed to:

  • Championing Wrexham County Borough as a great place to visit

  • Supporting local food, drink and producers wherever possible

  • Delivering consistently high standards of customer service

Membership Criteria

To join This Is Wrecsam, your business must meet one or more of the following criteria:

  • Be an accommodation provider with a recognised quality rating
    (Visit Wales, AA or equivalent)

  • If serving food, hold a current 4★ hygiene rating or above

  • Be a destination-led eatery or pub with a strong ethos for fresh, local produce, attracting visitors from outside Wrexham

  • Be a recognised visitor attraction accredited by Visit Wales, open at least 5 days per week for 7+ hours per day

  • Have at least 50% of your workforce or volunteers become a Bronze This Is Wrecsam Ambassador within 3 months of joining

  • Other tourism-led businesses that actively attract inward visitors to Wrexham County Borough (subject to approval)
