WALKS
Erddig: rated two pawprints by the National Trust. Dogs are welcome on a lead in the garden and across the 1,200 acre estate, with an off lead area near Felin Puleston, and in the Parlour for tea and cake. They aren’t allowed in the house or the Hayloft Restaurant.
Chirk Castle: also two pawprints. Dogs are welcome on a lead in the garden, Pleasure Ground Wood and three waymarked estate walks, and at the tearoom’s overflow and courtyard seating, but not inside the castle.
