World Cup Fever Arrives in Wrexham!
Football plays a huge part in the identity and culture of Wrexham. We have the oldest international stadium in the world and the Football Association of Wales (FAW) was formed here back in 1876. It’s little wonder that we consider Wrexham the spiritual home of Welsh Football. Keep your eyes peeled - Wrexham’s City of Culture bid is about to go on tour…
On Friday 14th, Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th January two Wrexham City of Culture buses will be touring the county in order to raise awareness and support for the #Wrecsam2025 bid. The buses will have on board performers and artists who will be hopping off at different locations for a short performance, before jumping back on board and heading to the next location.
