Pete Evans Tourist Guide

Pete was brought up on Anglesey and has lived and worked in northeast Wales since 1980. A qualified Green Badge Guide for North Wales and Chester, he combines deep local knowledge with a genuine passion for sharing the stories of the region.

In 2023, Pete was awarded a degree in History from Glyndwr University, further strengthening his expertise. He is a proud ambassador for Wrexham tourism and Welsh culture, with a particular love for the Welsh language. Pete has appeared at Wrexham’s Carnival of Words and has authored several books, including The Holy Dee. Following a career in industry, Pete now focuses on bringing Wrexham’s rich industrial heritage and remarkable football story to life. His engaging walking tours reveal both the well known sights and hidden history of the area.

Whether exploring the city or surrounding countryside, Pete offers a memorable and insightful experience of Wrexham.
