Xplore! Science Discovery Centre on Henblas Street is a fully indoor science centre, so a downpour outside makes no difference to the fun inside. With more than 80 hands on interactive exhibits, live science shows and a dedicated science shop, there’s enough here to fill a whole afternoon without setting foot outdoors.

It’s also one of the most central attractions in Wrexham. Xplore! sits opposite Tŷ Pawb, a short walk from Wrexham General train station and just six minutes from the bus station, so it’s an easy one to reach without getting soaked on the way.

Parking is available at Tŷ Pawb, Waterworld and the Library car parks, all a short walk from the centre. Wrexham General train station is roughly a 12 minute walk away.

Most visitors spend two to three hours on site, though your ticket allows you to come and go throughout the day, so there’s no need to rush.

The centre is wheelchair accessible with level access, accessible toilets and a Changing Places facility.
